Bluegrass Super Pull DVD’s Available Now

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series now has DVD’s of all the pulling action from the 1st Annual Bluegrass Super, presented by Corbin Motorsports.  “These DVD’s show all the pulling action, including interviews with the winners.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “For those who missed the Bluegrass Super Pull, and those who attended, these are videos of the incredible pulling action that took place in Corbin.”, commented McConnell.

1st Annual Bluegrass Super Pull Great Success at THE ARENA in Corbin, Kentucky

The 1st Annual Bluegrass Super Pull, presented by Corbin Motorsports, is now in the books and with over 300 hooks, the event was a great success.  “We had over 230 entries, from 11 states represented, with 12 classes being pulled, and the event went wonderful.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “The building is one of the best in the country for pulling and we look forward to the 2nd Annual Bluegrass Super Pull next year in Corbin.”, commented McConnell.

Over 300 Pulls to Take Place at the Corbin Motorsports Bluegrass Super Pull

With over 200 drivers entered in this week’s Corbin Motorsports Bluegrass Super Pull, the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is anticipating a huge event for this weekend.  “We have drivers from 12 states represented, and the best of the Bluegrass will be pulling against the best from across the country.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  15 classes of pulling will be held during the Bluegrass Super Pull, taking place this weekend, November 12-14, 2009, at THE ARENA in Corbin, Kentucky.

Over 100 Pullers Compete in Major Event in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky

Over 100 pullers competed in the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) event in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky this past Saturday night. “This was the biggest event the BOB Series has had this year, and the event took place in record time.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “The track was awesome and over 3,000 fans saw one of the best pulls in the State.”, commented McConnell.

Super Modified 2WD Trucks Makes Series Debut in Lawrenceburg

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) heads to the Anderson County Community Park in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on October 3rd. New to the BOB Series are the Super Modified 2WD Trucks. “Fans will get to see plenty of diesel smoke, and hear the ear piercing sound of the blower trucks.”, commented BOB Series, CEO Tom McConnell. “We are expecting large turnout in our 2WD Class, so the fans in Lawrenceburg will see one heck of a show.”, commented McConnell.

Lebanon, Kentucky to Host Major Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Event

September 19, 2009, the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series heads to the Marion County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Kentucky for the 1st Annual Heart of the Bluegrass Nationals. Seven classes of action will be pulling in Lebanon, along with 20 classes of Antique Tractors. “This event will grow into one of the largest events in the state, and we look forward to a great turnout of pulling vehicles.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “We hope to have well over 100 vehicles in attendance, and are excited about running a large show of Antiques as well.”, commented McConnell.

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) heads south for two days of pulling action this weekend. On Friday, September 11, 2009, the BOB Series will be at the Southern Kentucky Off Road Complex in Pine Knot, Kentucky and on Saturday September 12, 2009, the BOB Series will be at the Fentress County Fairgrounds in Jamestown, TN. “We have had a lot of pullers ask us to host some events in the Southern part of our region, and this weekend fans and pullers alike will be in for a great show.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “We expect a good turnout of fans and pullers and look forward to seeing some new pullers compete against our series regulars.”, commented McConnell.

Battle of the Bluegrass Heads to Glencoe

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) heads to Glencoe, Kentucky on August 21 and 22. Several classes of completion are scheduled, with five classes pulling on Friday night. “This pull is special to us, as the new fairgrounds was built last year with the help of Logan Tackett.”, commented BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “Without Logan’s help, the fairgrounds would have not been completed.”, commented McConnell. Logan Tackett, the son of Pro Farm Puller, Jeff Tackett, passed away last year and a Memorial Pull was held for Logan earlier this year in Mt. Sterling.
