The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Returns to Carlisle, Kentucky

This Saturday, October 1, the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) returns to the Nicholas County Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Ky.  “We are glad to be back in Carlisle.  Some of our biggest crowds and puller turnouts have been here, and we can’t wait until Saturday comes.” Said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “This pull could be one of the largest turnouts of fans and pullers this year, so I hope everyone can make it out.” Said McConnell.

The pull in Carlisle is a fund raiser for W. R. Hughes and Chelsea Markland.  All proceeds from this pull go to a scholarship fund in honor of each child.  The scholarship goes to a Nicholas County High School graduate to keep the memory of W. R. Hughes and Chelsea Markland alive. 

The pull in Carlisle will take place this Saturday, October 1st, at 7pm EST.  Classes to run include Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Light Limited Super Stock Tractor, 10,000 Hot Farm Tractor, Pro Farm Tractor, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), and Outlaw Super Farm Tractors.
