Stanford, Kentucky Opens the 2011 Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) kicks off its 2011 season this weekend at the World Famous Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Stanford, KY.  “We are looking forward to a good year of pulling and to kick the season off on the power track in Stanford will set the motion for things to come.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “Stanford has some of the most loyal and vocal fans in the South, and we look forward to a lot of smoke blowin’ and dirt slinging fun.” Commented McConnell.

The pull in Stanford will be on May 7 at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds and will start at 7pm.  This is an all diesel show, featuring Work Stock Diesel Trucks, 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), Pro Farm Tractors and Outlaw Diesel Trucks(3.0).  The top stars of the BOB Series will be there including Kyle Ruby, Scott Willoughby, Keith Race, Barry Elliott, Andrew Sauer, Kenny Webb, Royce McGowan, Shawn Knoop, and many more. 

Rule changes have been a bit of a controversy in the Hot Farm class, with P-Pumps now being allowed to pull.  Several new tractors from Indiana will be attending in the Hot Farm class.  “It is going to be interesting to see how the new rules play out, but with the 3000 RPM limit, I think we will be fine.” Said BOB Series President Kevin Fulks.  “We invite all Hot Farm pullers to come and have a good time.” Commented Fulks.
