2011 Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series
Press Releases

July 1, 2011(Louisville, KY)
The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Gears up for Six Pulls in Five Days

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) will be hosting six pulls this coming week in five days.  “This is the busiest week of the year for us, and with all the rain we had earlier this year, we are very pleased to be out of the rain and on the pulling tracks.” Said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “We are running every class we have this week and look for some great pulling action.” Commented McConnell.

The week will start off on Tuesday, July 5 at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Monticello, KY.  The pull will start at 7:30pm and Monticello is on Eastern Time.  Classes to run in Monticello include Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Outlaw Super Farm Tractors, Pro Farm Tractors, Work Stock Diesel Trucks and Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6).

Next up will be two events on Friday July 8.  Rising Sun, Indiana will take place at the Ohio County Fairgrounds at 7pm EST.  Classes to run include 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Pro Farm Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), and Super Stock 2WD Trucks.  The other event will take place at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Stanford, KY.  The pull will start at 7pm and classes to run include Super Modified 2WD Trucks, Outlaw Super Farm Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, and Light Limited Super Stock Tractors.

The week will close out with three events on Saturday, July 9.  The first event will be at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds in Stanford, KY.  The pull will start at 7pm and classes to run include 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Pro Farm Tractors, Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), and Outlaw Diesel Trucks(3.0).

Also on Saturday, July 9, the BOB Series will be at the Marion County Fair in Lebanon, KY.  Classes to run include Gas 4WD Trucks, Economy Hot Rod Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors and Pro Farm Tractors.  The 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors and the Pro Farm Tractors will be running first at Stanford, and last at Lebanon, so pullers will have plenty of time to make the 30 mile voyage to pull at both events.  Lebanon will start at 7pm EST.

July 9 will also feature a pull at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Charlestown, IN.  This pull will feature the Super-Modified 2WD Trucks, Outlaw Super Farm Tractors, 12,000 Open Farm Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), and the Light Limited Super Stock Tractors.  The pull will start at 7pm EST.
