Madisonville, Kentucky to Host 2012 Battle of the Bluegrass Championship Pull

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is proud to announce that the 2012 BOB Series Championship pull will take place Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Hopkins County Fairgrounds in Madisonville, Kentucky.  “Madisonville is one of the best places to pull in the United States and we are very excited about bringing pulling back to Madisonville.” Said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “Madisonville has a great power track, plenty of pit parking, and great pulling fans.” Commented McConnell.

The Pull in Madisonville is a fundraiser for the Rizpah Shiners and the West Kentucky Scottish Rite.  Proceeds will go to help the functions they support.  “Pulls in the past at Madisonville have raised a lot of money for our functions, and there is no telling how many people have benefited from the money raised.” Said event promoter Dirk Molt of the Scottish Rite Temple and Mack Scott of the Rizpah Shriners.  “We look forward to hosting the BOB Series Championship and helping a lot of people along the way.”

The pull will feature most of the classes offered by the BOB Series.  Classes to run to decide who will be the 2012 Champions include Pro Street Diesel Truck, Outlaw Diesel Truck, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Outlaw Super Farm Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, Hot Farm Tractors and Pro Farm Tractors.
