Diesel Day in Temple Hill Sanctions with Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) is proud to announce that Diesel Day in Temple Hill, KY will now be a part of the BOB Series for 2011.  “This is one of the biggest diesel events in the state and we are very pleased to sanction this event.” Commented BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “Temple Hill is one of those places that every pulling fan and driver needs to go to.  The fans, over 3000 of them, are some of the most enthusiastic in the state, and the track takes all the power you can give it.” Said McConnell.

Diesel Day will take place on Saturday May 28, 2011, at the Temple Hill Lions Club Fairgrounds in Temple Hill, Ky.  Classes to run include Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), Outlaw Diesel Trucks(3.0), Pro Farm Tractors, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, and Outlaw Super Farm Tractors.  There will also be a Dyno Competition, starting that morning.  “We have always wanted to sanction this event, and with the Battle of the Bluegrass being the largest pulling series in the South, now is the time.  All pullers are welcomed.” Said event promoter Wade Jackson.  Wade is also the owner of Southern Kentucky Pulling Parts, one of the largest outlets of pulling related parts in the state.  “Our plans are to grow this event into one of the largest in the state and beyond.” Commented Jackson.
