2010 Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series
Press Releases

September 20, 2010 (Louisville, KY)
Thunder and Smoke This Weekend in Lawrenceburg, KY

As the points race gets down to the final events, lots of action will be happening this Friday and Saturday as the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) heads to Lawrenceburg, KY.  “Lawrenceburg hosted our biggest outdoor event last fall, with the event having over 100 pullers competing for the money and glory.  We look for an even bigger turnout this year, as this event is now a two day show.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “Eddie Carey always has a great track, and the power really counts at Lawrenceburg.”, commented McConnell.

Friday night , September 24, the pull will start at 7pm.  Classes to run include Super Stock 2WD Trucks, Super-Modified 4WD Trucks, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), and the Super-Modified 2WD.

Saturday night, September 25, the pull will start at 7pm.  Classes to run include 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, Super-Modified 4WD Trucks, Pro Farm Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6) and the Super-Modified 2WD Trucks.

The pull is sponsored locally by Jack Kain Ford.  “Jack Kain Ford has been a big help in making this event possible.  They have really gone the extra mile to make this event successful.” Commented event Promoter Eddie Carey.

Also at this event, there will be a drivers introduction before the start of the event.  All drivers will be lined up on the track prior to start time and their names announced before the crowd.  “This will give the fans to see the drivers face to face.  I think it will be a really good thing for the event.” Said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.

The World famous Photo Joe will be in Lawrenceburg.  Photo Joe will be covering this pull and the story can be read in the “Full Pull Magazine”, which is available at the Tractor Supply stores.  Photo Joe will be filming the event, and videos of each class will be available on the Battle of the Bluegrass website at a later date.
