Press Releases

April 8, 2010(Louisville, KY)

Bad Boy Mowers becomes the Presenting Sponsor of the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series

Bad Boy LogoThe Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) is proud to announce that Bad Boy Mowers is now the Presenting Sponsor of the BOB Series.  “We are very excited to be working with Bad Boy Mowers.  This company is the fastest growing mowing company in the United States, and now with their addition of MTV’s, this company will become one of the major players in their industry.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.

At all BOB Series events in 2010, Bad Boy Mowers will have mowers and MTV’s on display for fans and pullers to see the quality and uniqueness of the complete Bad Boy Mower line.  An outreach to new dealers, as well as to fans and pullers interested in purchasing a mower or MTV, will be possible at all events in 2010.  “Bad Boy has something that are fans and pulling teams need, with several models available, we look for a great year with Bad Boy.”, commented McConnell.

Bad Boy Mowers was founded in 1998 in a small shop in Diaz, Arkansas.  Since then, Bad Boy Mowers has moved operations to Batesville, Arkansas, and grown to over 600,000 square feet of production for the company.  Bad Boy Mowers will produce over 22,000 mowers and MTV’s in 2010.  “The Vision of Bad Boy Mowers is to be the Bad Boy of commercial mowers.”, commented Bad Boy Mowers National Sales Director Mike Foree.  “We believe the that the BOB Series is a great way for Bad Boy Mowers to get its name out to the fans and pulling teams in the state of Kentucky.”, commented Foree.

Since 1998, Bad Boy Mowers has been committed to manufacturing the most durable zero turn mowers in the industry.  “Reliability, excellent quality of cut, productivity, and comfort is what Bad Boy Mowers does for its customers.”, commented Mike Foree.  “Bad Boy Mowers is second to none in power, durability, and accessibility.” Commented Foree.

All Bad Boy Mowers feature the new EZ-Ride System.  This is a patented independent suspension that has front and rear rubber compression shocks that allow people to mow faster on uneven terrain.  This is standard on all AOS Diesel and AOS Lighting Series mowers.  With the EZ-Ride System and adjustable seats, comfort to the operator is at the forefront.  The mowing deck also glides, giving the lawn a more manicured look.  Engine options include Kohler, Kawasaki, Vanguard, Briggs and Stratton, and Caterpillar.

The Multi Terrain Vehicles(MTV) are unique in the fact that they are electric.  “Just unplug and go.”, commented Mike Foree.  “People love the fact that are MTV’s are electric, making them virtually free to maintain.  No oil changes, no gasoline, no filter changes, just unplug and go.”, commented Foree.  The MTV’s feature a street legal vehicle, as well as a standard orange or black, or the ever popular camouflage MTV.
