Lloyd Lamb Named as Director of the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Indiana Division

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is proud to announce the addition of a new region.  In 2010, the BOB Series will be sanctioning events in Indiana.  “There is a real need for sanctioned pulling in Southern Indiana, and the BOB Series will be involved with several events in 2010 in the Hoosier State.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “As in Kentucky, Indiana has a long history of pulling and we are excited about our events that will take place in the Hoosier State in 2010.”, commented McConnell.

The Indiana Division of the BOB Series will feature several classes.  Classes to run include Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), Outlaw Diesel Trucks(2.8 and 3.0), Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, Pro Farm Tractors, Hot Farm Tractors, Outlaw Super Farm Tractors, Super-Modified 2WD Trucks, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors and Open Farm Stock Tractors.  The Indiana Division will run its own points system, thus being able to crown champions in the Hoosier State.  Some events will be co-sanctioned with the BOB Series.

Heading up the Indiana Division of the BOB Series will be Lloyd Lamb.  Lloyd has been involved in pulling since the early 1990’s.  Lloyd started his pulling career in the Antique Tractor classes, and then moved into Farm Stock, Hot Farm and into Super Farm Tractors.  He was the tractor builder of such notable Super Farm Tractors as the “Determined Deere”, “The Agitator”, and the “Black Viper”.  The “Black Viper”, driven by his son Greg Lamb, made the Finals at the 2009 National Farm Machinery Show Championship Tractor Pull.  Lloyd has also been a promoter of many pulling events in Southern Indiana, working with the ATPA and the Ohio River Valley Pullers.  In 2009, Lloyd was a tech official for the BOB Series.
