Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Starts the 2010 Season in Lawrenceburg

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) opens its 2010 season in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky this weekend, on Friday April 30 and Saturday May 1 at the Anderson County Recreational Park in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.  The event is sponsored by Jack Kain Ford.  “We might have to dodge some showers, but we feel we should get this event in.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “We hosted a major event in Lawrenceburg last year, and we expect a lot of fans and pullers.”, commented McConnell.

The event will kick off at 7pm on Friday, April 30, 2010.  Classes to run on Friday night include the Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), Economy Hot Rod Tractors, 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Super-Modified 2WD Trucks and the Pro Farm Tractors.

The classes for Saturday Night are the Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Super Stock 2WD Trucks, Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Super-Modified 2WD Trucks and the Outlaw Diesel Trucks(2.8/3.0).

Jack Kain Ford in Versailles, Kentucky is offering a way for fans to go to the pull for free.  The first 20 people that stop by Jack Kain Ford and test drive a new Ford will be given a ticket to the pull, good for one night at the event.

Pullers from several states will be attending.  “We had over 100 entries at our last event in Lawrenceburg, and look for many to be attending again.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell.  “The track takes a lot of power, and it will be interesting to see who has made changes to their vehicles from last year.”, commented McConnell.
