Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Returns to Carlisle

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) heads this Saturday, August 8, to the Nicholas County Fairgrounds in Carlisle, KY. “We had a great pull here earlier this year and expect another great show.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “Carlisle has a great track and lots of loyal fans, and we look forward to watching the dirt fly and the smoke blowing high.” Commented McConnell.

The pull in Carlisle will start at 7pm. Classes to run, in order, include the Work Stock Diesel Trucks, the Light Hot Farm Tractors, the Pro Street Diesel Trucks(2.6), the Pro Farm Tractors, and the Outlaw Diesel Trucks(2.8).

The points race in the classes to run are heating up. Scott Willougby is going for his fourth win in a row in Work Stock. Wesley Wade and Ben Jefferson will battle it out in the Pro Street, with Wade going for his fourth win a row as well. Taylor Stivers has a good lead in the Outlaw Diesel, with Updegraft gunning for him, as is Tyrone Taylor. Pro Farm is being lead by the “Red Rattler” of Keith Race, but the battle will continue for him as Barry Elliott and Pete Baxter have him in their sites.
