Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series Heads to Ponderosa Speedway on May 30

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is headed next to the Ponderosa Speedway this Saturday night in Junction City, Kentucky. “The Ponderosa Speedway is one of the most popular dirt tracks in America, and we look forward to a great pulling event this weekend.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “This is the first time that the Ponderosa Speedway has ever had a pulling event, and we think the fans and drivers will be in for a great show.”, commented McConnell.

Classes to run include the Street Stock Diesel Trucks (Work Stock), 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors (3000 RPM Limit), Pro Street Diesel Trucks (2.6), Pro Farm Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks and the Outlaw Street Diesel Trucks (2.8). Pull will start at 6pm and gates open at 4pm EST.

The Ponderosa Speedway is operated and promoted by Larry Yantz. Larry is also the Battle of the Bluegrass Dirt Car Series Director, and formerly the President of the Lincoln County Fair Board in Stanford, Kentucky. “With the advent of Diesel Truck Pulling and the interest in Diesel Pulling in general, I felt that the time was right to try a pull at the speedway.”, commented Yantz. “We have great classes of pulling set to run, including the Street Stock Diesel trucks, where fans can bring their street trucks out to pull at the Ponderosa.”, commented Yantz.
