Big Crowds and Lots of Pullers at the Matt Pike Memorial Pull

A record crowd attended the Matt Pike Memorial Pull this past weekend in Brandenburg, KY as the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series(BOB Series) pulled at the Meade County Fairgrounds. “We had a great show with our biggest crowd ever.”, said event Promoter Neal Allen. “The fans loved all the smoke and noise.” Commented Allen.


The fans were treated to five classes of action, including the Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Pro Stock 4WD Trucks, Pro Farm Tractors, Pro Stock 2WD Trucks and Pro Street Diesel Trucks. This was the first time that Diesel Trucks had been a part of this event and the fans loved them. “The best of the best were in Brandenburg.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “The track was incredible, taking all the power the pullers could give it.”, commented McConnell.

All money raised at this event goes to charity. The goal of having this event is to raise enough money to build a gym for the community, the dream set forth by the late Matt Pike, a young man that passed away, who was loved by the people of Meade County.
