Brandenburg Pull to Pay $1000 to Win! -Corrected

The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is proud to announce that on June 20, 2009 at the sanctioned event in Brandenburg, KY, each BOB Series class will pay $1000 to win. “We are excited about the purse increase at this important event.”, said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “This pull is for charity and the promoters want as many pullers as possible, and by increasing the purse, the event should be an even bigger event.”, commented McConnell.

The Allen family, promoters of the Matt Pike Memorial Pull, have secured class sponsors to increase the purse. The Pro Stock 4WD is sponsored by Neal’s Trucking and Ford’s Lawn Service, the Pro Farm is sponsored by K& D Lawn Service and TB Homes and Remodeling, the Light Limited Super Stock Tractor is sponsored by Allen’s Truck and Equipment (Carquest), and the Pro Street Diesel Trucks (2.6 Turbo) is sponsored by High Tech Turbo. “These sponsors want to see a lot of pullers and are adding money to draw lots of competitors.” Said event promoter Neal Allen. “We want to give the fans a good show and we feel that by increasing the already large purse that we will be able to do that.” Commented Allen.
