Nelson County Gets Down And Dirty This Weekend as the Battle Of The Bluegrass Heads To Bardstown

See how the Super Stock 2WD Trucks do against the Pro Streets as they compete against each other at Bardstown!

Bardstown, KY is known for it’s vibrant history and the bourbon distillery cornerstone of Kentucky. This weekend, Bardstown will add horsepower to the list of reasons to visit one of Kentucky’s most beautiful small towns.

This Saturday, May 20, the Nelson County Fairgrounds will host the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine. After the first event of the year in Falmouth was rained out, the season finally got kicked off in Charlestown, IN last week with a great crowd and intense competition. That hot competition will continue this Saturday in Bardstown.

This will be the first event of the year for the Super Stock 2WD Trucks. It will be interesting to see how they do against the Pro Street 2WD Trucks who will be allowed an extra 100lbs in order to compete in the Super Stock class.

The pull is slated to begin at 6:00PM and will feature 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, Light Limited Super Stock Tractors, Pro Street Diesel Trucks (3.0) Super Stock 2WD Trucks, Work Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Street 2WD Trucks and Pro Street Semis. Since this will be a big show, be sure to arrive early to the stands to grab the best seats!
