2016 Heritage Series

Since 1929, the sport of pulling has become a national and international pastime. From its beings of farmers taking their tractors out of the fields and pulling a weighted sled, pulling has come a long way. As is the case in many sports, sometimes the unique heritage of a sports beings get over looked. In order to preserve our strong and historic pulling heritage, the Battle of the Bluegrass is now offering its Heritage Series. This series of classes will feature tractors and trucks that launched the sport into international prominence. These classes allow for just about any type of tractor or truck to participate in a professional environment, while producing an entering show for fans. ‘

The the Baddest Antique In The World competition is an invitational antique tractor pulling series.  At selected events coming this fall, the top Antiques pullers from around the US and Canada will be invited to compete, with the top tractors competing in the finals, held indoors each March in Richmond, KY.  The following are the dates for this years events:
  • Williamstown, KY, Saturday Oct. 8, 2016
