The Battle of the Bluegrass Heads to West Virginia
We’re in the final full month of the pulling season but we’ve still got a long way to go. The closer we get to the final few pulls, the more each team has to keep their eyes on the points race. This the final stretch and a simple mistake could make or break a puller’s points lead.
This weekend, Saturday, September 2, 2017, The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine, will head to Grafton, WV. The pull at the Taylor, Co. The Legendary Hatfields & McCoys join the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series
There is no question that one of the most famous legends in the American South is that of the Hatfields & McCoy feud. The famous feud began in 1862 and spanned almost 30 years in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. It is a tale of family, honor and vengeance that by it’s end left twelve family members dead, six in prison, and one sent to the gallows.
Over 150 years later, in 2014 John T. Hatfield and Big Jim McCoy of the two famous families finally came together to present their Legendary Hatfield & McCoy Family Brand Whiskey and Jerky Products.

Battle of the Bluegrass Showdown in Shelby County this Saturday
The end of summer is near and while temperatures begin to cool down, the opposite is happening on the pulling circuit. Pulling teams have their eyes set on the championship as the we head into the final stretch of the 2017 pulling season.
This weekend, the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine, will head to beautiful Shelby Co. Fairgrounds which is right in the heart of historic Shelbyville, KY. Historic Shelbyville is known for it’s agriculture, and horse farms as well as being well-known as the birthplace of the world-famous Kentucky Fried Chicken.
