It’s been a long hot summer. Fall is finally knocking at the door and temperatures are coming down, leading folks to bring their jackets and sweaters out of the closet. However, it’s a different story on the pulling track. Hot competition continues on the track as teams keep their focus on the Full Pull line at each event of the remaining events. Battle of the Bluegrass Heads To Historic Bardstown
After last week’s rainout in Grafton, WV due to the remnants of Hurricane Harvey, which dumped buckets of rain on the region, both pullers and fans are ready to get back on the track. Time is running out for pullers to earn as many points as possible in the final month of the competition season.
This weekend, on Saturday, September 9th, the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine, heads to historic Bardstown, KY. Bardstown is rated one of the most beautiful small towns in the United States and is host to many tourist activities including distillery tours, historical museums and landmarks, and many unique local shops and restaurants.

The Battle of the Bluegrass Heads to West Virginia
We’re in the final full month of the pulling season but we’ve still got a long way to go. The closer we get to the final few pulls, the more each team has to keep their eyes on the points race. This the final stretch and a simple mistake could make or break a puller’s points lead.
