The 2017 Pulling Season Comes To A Close In Williamstown, KY This Saturday
This is it! For the past six months, pullers have been on the road each weekend earning points toward their class championship. All summer, the trucks and tractors have been put to their limits trying to gain the edge on their competitors, but the time has finally come for teams to put it all on the line.
The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine, will return to Williamstown, KY to host it’s final championship-deciding pull this Saturday, October 7, 2017 beginning at 6:00pm. The final event of the year will be held at the Grand County Fairgrounds.

The Battle of the Bluegrass Heads to West Virginia Saturday
We’re down to the wire with only two more pulls left to go before the 2017 Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, presented by Jeffrey Machine, closes out another great year of pulling. Some teams have a solid lock on the points lead, while others are still fighting for that extra last ditch “Hail Mary” run. They will push their vehicles to their limits to try and squeeze out every horsepower they can for that extra few inches that can make or break their championship win.

Battle of the Bluegrass Returns to Lebanon, KY for Fifth Annual Ham Days Pull
Lebanon, KY, located in the heart of beautiful Marion County will host the annual Marion County Country Ham Days festival this weekend. The Marion County Country Ham Days festival is held each year in late September and is a continues to celebrate all things of the pork variety, most signifantly, the delicious country ham of which they serve over 5,000 pounds of each year.
The Marion County Country Ham Days Festival is one of the largest local festivals in Kentucky and runs from September 22-24. Festival events include the famous Country Ham Breakfast, car, truck and motorcycle show, carnival rides and the hugely popular “Pigasus” parade.
